28-06-19 - Beech is very nervous, older Bichon who has come from a breeder. He will come up and lick your hand should you be lucky enuogh to be trusted by him.He allowed us to groom him without a fuss but you can see the fear is there at the moment as he has not yet been handled much. Beech can be very nosey about whats going on around him. He is very sweet and a pretty little lad who will need another dog in his new home to help him learn all about housetraining and what it is to be a much loved member of the family.

23-07-19 UPDATE

Normally the only time I get to spend with Beech is in the morning at feeding time so to take him out of the kennel and have longer time with him was amazing! To see him transform over the weeks he has been here from a very nervous boy to walking around the garden enjoying every moment is such a great thing it just goes to show how far a little love can go.
He doesn't walk on a lead just yet but does great with a harness, as soon as I put him onto the floor in the garden he was away enjoying all the new smells, the people giving him fuss, even watching the horses in their field he is quite an inquisitive chap. He loves being around his kennel friends whether he is out playing or cuddling up with them, he will need at least one resident dog to help him along with things like house training and to gain more confidence with walking. Although Beech is an older boy don't let his age fool you he is a very excitable, energetic boy with a lot of love to give and as you can see a VERY loveable face!! How could you not love this adorable little guy he is a firm favourite with me!

20-08-19 UPDATE

Beech has been here for a couple of months now and still hasn't found his forever home!! I don't understand why because he is such a sweet boy. Today I get to spend a lot of time with him we even went out walking on just a lead!! As you can see from the video he did amazing!! He really enjoyed being out and at some points he was on a long lead and really enjoyed the freedom.
Beech is ready to get out of kennels and start life in a home, he will need a resident dog to help him along with house training but as for anything else he has it covered. Beech is a very calm boy who just wants to be loved, he enjoyes having attention from everyone so it's about time he found his own special someone who will give him all the love he craves, plus he has a gorgeous smile how could you not want to wake up to that face every day!!

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
