27-06-19 - Stormy is a very scared ex breeding Cocker Spaniel girl who is very nervous and will really need another dog in her new home to help her overcome her fears as well as show her new skills like housetraining. She doesnt walk on a lead yet and is not very keen on being held, but she really isnt used to it just yet. She will need a nice peaceful new home so she can come out of her shell and learn all about love and life. In time she will relax and shine. She has a passport

30-07-19 UPDATE
Stormy is a very sad little girl who has really been through a hard time. She looks up at you will these big sad eyes and its just pityful to look at.
When Stormy came to us she had a very serious infection in her right ear, but that is now under control. Stormy's future family will need to understand that Stormy will need time and patients and understand that is isn't going to be an over night thing. She will need at least one other resident to help her understand that not all humans are bad and here to hurt her. If you are someone special and someone who has a lot of spare time then maybe Stormy is the right one for you, she no doubt will be waiting for you.

19-08-19 UPDATE
Stormy has been in foster a week and is coping really well. She is full of curiosity and this often gets the better of her. She will come in and out of the house, wander around the garden and generally follow me around at a safe distance. She stops a few paces away if I'm working or sitting and either stands or lies down watching.
She will approach with the other dogs and allow a chin tickle or take a treat. However, she is not yet comfortable with me approaching her, so needs a home where she can have time and space to learn to trust. She gets on well with dogs of all sizes, male and female and is clean in the house. Stormy has not yet been introduced to a lead.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
