13-06-19 - Ffion is a nervous ex breeding girl who will need another dog in her new home to help her settle and learn new skills like housetraining. She will not yet  walk on a lead and will need  time and encouragement for this. She is extremely worried when being handled but she will not bite or growl at you. Should you have the experience and a calm, adult home then please pop your application form through and help this sweet, insecure little dog learn how wonderful life can be

12-07-19 UPDATE

Meet Ffion a very special little girl, she has quickly learned treats are good , hands can be nice and toys great fun. Ffion is being very clean in doors ,with trips to garden on her own or waiting for me to open door . She gets on well with the dogs here and enjoys their company .She has been to the groomer and was a little star, so good.

09-08-19 UPDATE
Today this brave little dog did her first walk near traffic, she was very brave only stopping a few times but I encouraged her on plus she had 3 other resident dogs for support. Ffion will let me touch her but is still shy of men. She sleeps quietly at night, and accidents are very rare usually because I haven’t noticed the signs. Ffion knows if she has her harness on it means a walk, this makes her happy.

11-08-19 UPDATE
Ffion is a lovely little dog. She likes to stand and watch the other dogs and shows interest in everything they do. She needs to go with another little dog for company, and she loves to snuggle up in bed with one or more dogs. She will now settle for a cuddle for a short while, and that will get longer given time. Ffion also loves to have a good roll on her back with legs flying and lots of wriggles. Ffion is now starting to walk on a harness and lead. At the moment she can be easily startled by traffic but with treats and fuss she will carry on, and hopefully it will not be long till she enjoys her walks. She does need another dog to give her courage on her walks.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
