11-06-19 Tilly is a 4 year old ex-breeding Bichon who will need some TLC. She is a gentle girl who's a little bit nervous so we are looking for a quiet home with a friendly resident dog in for her to copy and learn from. Tilly doesn't walk on a lead yet and won't know anything about house training or living in a home so she'll need lots of patience and love from her new family.

13-06-19 UPDATE

I met beautiful little Tilly Toes yesterday. She is a bright little girl who was keen to give me a sniff, she had only just arrived a day earlier and you wouldn’t have known, she was taking it all in her stride. Tilly has been seen by our vet and she has been found to have a grade 2 heart murmur, she is not medication for this but will need to be monitored in the future.

10-07-19 UPDATE

Tilly-Toes is gaining confidence day by day and although still a little nervous she is now learning to walk on a harness. Yesterday she walked a little nervously behind a room mate Chester keeping an eye on me, but after a little practice she got more and more confident focussing more on her walk than who was behind her.
She is such a sweetheart who does like human contact but has yet to learn she can trust people. She comes up to you and has a sniff before pulling back a little but after a while she lets you stroke her but does look a bit scared, however as soon as you stop, she comes back for more attention.
Tilly-Toes will at this time still need a quietish home with a current resident dog to help her settle in and show her how to live in a home. She will still house training and to continue to walk on a harness until ready for a lead. If this beautiful girl could be the dog for you, please come and meet her.

05-08-19 UPDATE

Tilly has been here for far too long now! She's in need of a loving home, she is great with other dogs and I know will be a bright star in your household. She is now walking fine on a lead/harness, although a little nervous when out and about. Tilly is gaining trust in leaps n bounds but definitely could do with some magical one on one attention. Please please let this little fluffy cloud into your household she is a little gem just waiting to be loved and adored.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
