If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

30-5-19 Carry  is a lovely girl but quiet shy and worried at the moment. She has come to us from a breeder and will allow you to pick her up and does settle in your arms with kind words of gentle encouragement, Carry will need another dog in her new home to help her understand what home life is all about.  She will watch and then start to copy what they do which will help her with house training and lead walking.  She has absolutely no idea about the world and has never seen inside a home so this will be a little new and  overwhelming at first but with time, love and patience you will watch her blossom.

13-06-19 UPDATE
I met Carry when I visited the centre yesterday, you can see the worry in her eyes but she was so brave and came totally out of her comfort zone to come and sniff me what a star!

15-06-19 UPDATE
Carry is a lovely little girl with beautiful soft eyes. She will happily come up to the front of the kennel to say hello because she wants to be brave but is still scared when you go in with her. All she needs is some time and patience from an understanding person and soon she will be a very happy confident girl if she has a new doggie friend to show her the way in her new home.

05-07-19 UPDATE

There is no hiding the fact that Carry prefers to be with her kennel friends than with people at the moment so for now she will definitely need at least one resident dog in her new home. I put a harness on Carry today for the first time and I'm happy to say that she was fine with wearing it and is happy to be handled by people. Next time, Carry will be taken out with a more confident dog to help her relax when on a lead. Even though Carry is quiet with people, she is quite calm and gentle in your arms and I would expect her to become even more friendly towards people in home.

29-07-19 UPDATE

This is Carry who has been with us now nearly two months which is hard to believe. She is so much more relaxed now compared to when she came in. Carry is 7 years old but still full of beans around her kennel mates so would need another dog in the home to help settle in. She will slowly come up to you for a sniff but then go about her business LOL. Please help us find her forever home.

07-08-19 UPDATE

We had the absolute privilege spending time with this gorgeous girl today, including giving her a bath, brush & blow dry. She was an absolute angel in disguise, so tolerant, trusting, gentle and patient. Lots of kisses and licks for my 13 year old son, she is just the perfect princess, albeit a little worried. This little girl needs her forever home now. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will have one very special girl indeed.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
