30-05-19 - Pretty is a super friendly ex breeding girl who runs up to you when you enter her kennel. She much prefers humans to other dogs and would really like a home where she is the only dog.  Pretty walks on a lead and is so human friendly it's possible she may have lived in a home at some time so could have once been house trained but we can't guarantee that's the case and it's something her new family will need to be prepared to work on should she need it .  Pretty is such a sweetie she deserves to be loved now and to explore her new world with her new family.

15-06-19 UPDATE

Pretty is very sweet girl who loves nothing more then a fuss and a cuddle from humans and really likes them more than other dogs so would love to be an only dog.  She walks lovely on a lead and just wants a human to find her and take her home.

19-07-19 UPDATE

I’ve worked with Pretty for the past 3 days and I just adore her! She’s one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met and I’d love nothing more than for her to find her forever home. She absolutely loves people and getting cuddles and kisses (as you can see), however although she is fine meeting other dogs she would really prefer to be an only dog! She’s always happy to see me and will always come to say hello. She’s still walking lovely on a lead and loves exploring new smells and scenery. Please come and meet her as she’s been waiting very patiently .. I promise she’ll put a smile on your face!

22-08-19 UPDATE
Meet Pretty the JRT she's been with us now nearly 3 months which is hard to believe as she is so friendly. She will come up to you for fuss and attention. Pretty is sharing her kennels with other dogs and getting on well so she could be a only dog or go with others. Please help us find her forever home.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.

ADOPTION DETAILS
The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

In certain circumstances and in particular when it is one of our long term stayers or a dog who is difficult to home we may transport it down the M4 as far as Reading if the adopter is not able to travel for a valid reason. This will only happen on a Sunday and will be part of our Foster Run where we transport dogs to their foster homes. There will be and additional charge of £20 transport fee for this and the adopter must be able to travel to the allocated service station. Please think very carefully before asking for a dog to be transported as if you already have a dog there is no guarantee they will get along with the new dog or vice versa and you will need to be able to hold on to the dog until the following week and meet the van again if you wish to return the dog.

Please read our adoption procedures before applying and then complete the adoption form.
