If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

29-05-19 Cagney arrived here with his sister Lacey.  Humans are a mystery to him and he has absolutely no clue about love and kindness.  He is only small and weighs just under 6 kilos at the moment.    Cagney has cherry eye in both eyes which will both be replaired when he is neutered.  He was given to us because no one else wanted him and he is going to need some TLC and kindness to help him learn the world is not to be feared.  We are looking for a home with a confident dog to help him learn about house training and lead walking etc.  Please read his updates as this boy has transformed into an adorable  cheeky little chap who is desperate to be chosen and have a forever home.

17-07-19 UPDATE

When Cagney came to the rescue he was very scared but boy has he changed! This little lad is now a happy dog and his confidence is growing every day! He gets on well with all the little dogs in his kennel and enjoys cuddling up to them during nap times.
Today I popped Cagney on a harness and we went to the garden, he really loved sniffing all the new smells you could see he enjoyed his adventure. This boy is so brave, going from a very timid pup to a dog that will happily wag his tail and jump all over me when he greets me now! Now all he needs is his forever home to show him it was all worth it.

09-08-19 UPDATE

Little Cagney is an adorable boy, a cheeky chap, he’s very popular here in his foster home. He loves to play with the other dogs and loves a fuss and a cuddle, he’s small in size (5.5kg) but big in personality!
He loves his walks over the fields and snuggling up in his bed with his friends. He’s an easy, happy go lucky boy who’s desperate to have someone to bond with and have his first proper home. This boy has waited too long, please can someone choose him and give a new start? Hes cute, fun and very loving, anyone who adopts him will be very lucky indeed.

22-08-19 UPDATE

Little Cagney is completely adorable, he hasn’t had the best start in life but boy has he changed from the scared unconfident boy he was when he came into the rescue. He’s no longer together with his sister but now has made tons of new friends, he’s a very social happy chap who LOVES playing.
He’s small in size but has a big personality, he hadn’t known any love or kindness in his first couple of years, but he’s definitely now learnt to love and be loved. He loves his walks and will sit ready to have his lead on, he happily meets all the new dogs we see on our walk.
He’s desperate to be chosen and have his first proper home , he seems to be being overlooked, all his foster friends here have been adopted, he’s not white and fluffy but think of the grooming bills you’ll save and you’ll be adopting the most unique looking little dog with a BIG PERSONALITY!!!

The adoption fee for an adult dog (6 months and over) is £220 and for a puppy is £250, However if the dog has a passport you will be given this when you adopt and we ask for a further £20 to help us buy a passport for another dog. You will find a break down of what the adoption fee covers under our Adoption Procedures (see link below) If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.
