If you are interested in adopting a dog that does not say it can be homed with a cat and wish us to cat test please let us know and we will be happy to do this.

06-04-19  Tilly is a 5 year old ex-breeding husky who is sweet, happy and waggy tailed. Tilly already walks on a lead and adores kisses and cuddles so in the right home we would consider her as an only dog but she would also be more than happy to have a canine friend or two as this is what she is used to. Tilly is quite underweight at the moment so we will start to build her up.  She is such an inquistive and loving girl we think she'll do so well in a home so please give her that chance.Tilly has her own passport.

23-04-19 UPDATE

Tilly has been in foster with me and has settled so quickly. We have been camping for 4 days and she has loved it, even pinched my seat by the fire..
She got lots of attention from everyone who saw her (my retriever was slightly jealous as it's usually him getting attention). Many parents asking if their child could stroke her or if they themselves could, she thanked every child with a kiss.
At least 3 people asked for Many Tears details.
She is house and tent trained and travels well in the car. She is already an amazing pet and loves meeting other dogs.
She hasn't been very vocal yet but I'm sure that will come! She sleeps in a crate in my bedroom and although needs encouragement with a treat to get in once in she is a real lazy bones and doesn't mind having a lay in.
She is just such a wonderful girl.

02-07-19 UPDATE

Tilly no longer needs crating at home but is quite happy to be crated at night when we take her camping.  She still has no recall so will need an experienced home and kept on lead until she has mastered it.  She loves to play with other dogs and is good with children but she does like to greet everyone with a kiss on the lips and can lung to do this so would be better with older children, she is great with my 10yr old son. She loves to have her tummy and head rubbed and will sit for her food or a treat.  Her coat is looking so much better now and she has put on weight.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
