JUNE WOULD LIKE A HOME WITH HER FRIEND JOHNNY

05-04-19 June is a 6 year old ex breeding female Yorkshire Terrier. June is a timid little girl who has never known the love of a human before and so finds us a bit intimidating. She will let you handle her though and relaxes in your arms. At the moment June will not walk on a lead so she needs to practice this. She also has never needed to know about housetraining and will need another dog in her new home to show her and be her friend. In time she will settle and start to bloom.June has her on passport.

29-05-19 UPDATE

June has settled into home life very quickly . Although she is a bit shy to begin with she has learnt that cuddles and strokes are the best thing ever. She loves nothing more than to sit by your side for a snuggle and will pat your arm with her paw for more strokes.  She arrived here with another yorkie called Johnny  and he is quite dependant on her and they have become a bonded pair so we are looking to home them together.
June welcomes people with a bum waggly commando crawl which is funny and adorable at the same time. She is clean around the house and enjoys her food. She does like to go out for a walk or should I say a carry... Learning to walk using a harness and lead is still ongoing and when she has more confidence this will not be a problem. She accepts having the harness on easily.
June is an absolute delight to have around and sleeps all night quietly. If you would like a little snuggle bunny this is your chance. Go for it, apply for June xx

08-08-19 UPDATE

This sweet, gentle and stunningly beautiful little lady has been in foster here in Stockport for three weeks, after initially being wary she is gaining in confidence every day.
She is quiet in the house, not destructive or barky and is the perfect house guest apart from the odd little tinkle as she is still getting used to training her bladder although if she does get taken short, it is always on the puppy pad or newspaper.
June comes forward to kiss your fingers or nose, has a beautiful soft shiny coat and eyes. She is still trying to be brave and walk on the lead but it is very daunting for her yet, she is a smart girl and will pick this up soon I'm sure.
June has a best friend, Johnny, that she has spent a long time with and they have a bond but since they have been here they no longer seek each other out for company but are happy to be with any of the other dogs here. Though when June and Johnny come together there are special smoochy kisses for each other which is why it would be the perfect rehoming for them together. If not, June will need at least one kind resident dog in her new home to give her comfort and show her the routine.
Anybody adopting either or both of these beauties would be lucky indeed but taking the two together would be just perfect. They have been waiting a while now which is surprising as they are so very gorgeous, hopefully there lovely forever family will find them soon.

PLEASE NOTE: We nearly always home dogs who have come from breeders where there is ALREADY A RESIDENT DOG living in the house. They have usually never lived in a house before and are only used to canine company. They usually get their confidence and learn faster with another dog to copy from. This also helps with house training and learning how to walk on a lead. They will make lovely pets but do need a lot of love, time and patience. If the ex breeding dog you are interested in can be an only dog it will say so in its write up. Please read our information on ADOPTING EX-BREEDING DOGS before you apply.
